Clear expectations protect clients, therapists and the quality of every appointment.
Right to end an appointment
A therapist may leave immediately if the environment or conduct is unsafe, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intoxicated or inappropriate.
Accurate location details
Provide the correct address, postcode, room, reception, parking and access information. The therapist must be able to enter and leave safely.
Health disclosure
Share relevant conditions, injuries, pregnancy, recent surgery or symptoms that could make massage unsuitable. Medical clearance may be required.
Privacy
Client information is shared only as needed to arrange and deliver the service. Optional GPS and anonymous activity consent remain under the client’s control.
Emergency situations
Massage is not emergency care. For urgent medical symptoms, contact emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional.
